Hi Stephen,

Thanks for stopping by. I looked up your book, it sounds like a really good read. Enid Blyton sure was an interesting character.

Hi Rebecca,

Wow, reading from the age of two! that's great. One thing we've decided is that we want both our boys to be reading before they get to school. Reading was such a huge part of my childhood and I want our kids tohave the option to dive deep into reading.

Thanks for the lovely comments, I'm glad you enjoyed the post.

Such a wonderful post - and a delicious piece of writing. As a passionate and almost-life-long reader (I started at the age of 2) I felt so appreciated and vindicated. And as a writer I felt inspired and invigorated. A great picture, too. Thank you, Mr Chai!

It is exhilarating to learn that you are an Enid Blyton fan. actually, when I used to read The Famous Five books, I remember reading Five On a Treasure Island last (thought was first in the series), though I do not remember having read Five Are Together Again (the last book in the series) last. Thus, it is my enthusiastic love for Enid Blyton and her books that I decided to write a book on her, titled, The Famous Five: A Personal Anecdotage (www.bbotw.com,www.amazon.com).
