Let’s Play

A coaching session certainly involves discussion, but it comes alive when we add an element of experiential play.  In addition to talking our way to the heart of your issues, we’ll do brief ‘no-pressure’ creative activities to help the process along.

I’m trained as a creativity coach, but have spent years running experiential workshops using a range of arts-based techniques. I’ve seen how transformative this can be, so this is my preferred way of working.

When we do a session all you’ll need is something to write with: pen, crayon, squeeze-bottle of ketchup. Something to write on: paper, old takeout menu, wall.

Oh, and your imagination.

A single session can be just what’s needed to bounce yourself above a patch of creative stuck-ness, get perspective, and drop back into creative action.

If you would like more ongoing support to really dig into the creative life, the Monthly Packages are made for you:

Each month you’ll get three 60-minute phone sessions and continuing email support.

As part of our phone sessions we will dream up homework fun projects based on creative issues that come up during the phone session. These will be easy, quick and enjoyable. Promise.

Email support will focus on playing with these mini-projects between sessions, and providing opportunities to check in on your progress, fine-tune where necessary, and celebrate your successes.
